Due to the implementation of a new software system at the Castellbisbal rail terminal, the Barcelona – Can Tunis freight rail hub will remain closed for both Iberian and international gauge operations from 2nd August to 8th August, both dates inclusive. 

As a result of this closure, it will not be possible to operate either export or import rail services to and from the Port of Barcelona during this period. 

We have been working on different alternative solutions to maintain service continuity, as detailed below: 

• Bilbao Service 

• Direct trucking from Barcelona – Rates published on the website. 
• Alternative via Tarragona – 250 EUR add-on applicable. 
• Capacity is limited and will be allocated as confirmations are received.

• Zaragoza Service 

• Direct trucking from Barcelona – Rates published on the website. 
• Alternative via Tarragona – 200 EUR add-on applicable. 
• Capacity is limited and will be allocated as confirmations are received. 

• Pamplona Service 

• Direct trucking from Barcelona – Rates published on the website. 
• Alternative via Tarragona – 250 EUR add-on applicable. 
• Capacity is limited and will be allocated as confirmations are received.
