If you are shipping between Egypt and the Adriatic, here’s an update for your cargo planning.
Our ADX service will provide a fast and weekly connection to and from Egypt, including Port Said and Damietta, and the Adriatic ports of Koper and Venice. With the new rotation setup our service offers best‑in‑market transit times from Egypt to Koper — 4 days from Damietta and 5 days from Port Said.
With arrivals in Koper on Tuesdays, ADX supports fresh cargo distribution in Europe early in the week. This provides a tailor-made reefer alternative from Damietta, one of Egypt’s key export ports, to the Adriatic region.
In addition, we are enhancing our network by introducing our new IAS (Intra Adriatic Service) which will create a link from our Far East service SE1 to Venice and Ancona via Rijeka. This new option with our IAS service supports faster connections, improved schedule reliability, and dependable access to the Adriatic market.
For your reference, here’s an overview of the updated ADX rotation:
- Port Said –> Damietta –> Koper –> Venice

- Starting week 29
New IAS rotation
Our IAS service will create a link from our SE1 service to Venice and Ancona via Rijeka.
The IAS service setup is as follows:
- Rijeka –> Venice –> Rijeka –> Ancona –> Rijeka

- Starting week 31
Our SE1 service will continue connecting Asia with Koper and Rijeka, supported by the reliability of the Gemini network, while adding Algeciras calls in both directions.
To assist your cargo planning, you can use our schedule. Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact our customer service team at your location who will be happy to guide you based on your individual situation.
