As the EFS covers incremental fuel costs within Hapag-Lloyd-operated services, these additional third-party cost increases require a separate surcharge. \u003C/p>\u003Cp>We will therefore introduce the Emergency Operations Charge (EOO/EOD) to address the operational costs related to third-party feeder services.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>The surcharge will be applied as follows:\u003C/p>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>EOO (Origin): Emergency Operations Charge at origin\u003C/li>\u003Cli>EOD (Destination): Emergency Operations Charge at destination\u003C/li>\u003C/ul>\u003Cp>Please find below the affected ports (shipments from and to) and applicable surcharge below (all values in USD): \u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cimg src=\"https://geekfiles.oss-cn-shanghai.aliyuncs.com/rms/50777bbd962e4af68b7db87a88370c5b.png\">\u003C/p>\u003Cp>This surcharge will apply for non-FMC regulated trades with tariffing date on or after \u003Cstrong>May 8, 2026\u003C/strong>. For FMC-regulated trades, the surcharge will be effective \u003Cstrong>May 27, 2026\u003C/strong>. The charge will be applied to all container types and will be payable by the sea freight payer.
