With approximately 20 % of global fuel passing through the Strait of Hormuz, current developments have created an unprecedented cost environment affecting Landside (Inland) and Intermodal operations.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>To ensure service continuity, safeguard cargo integrity, and secure sufficient vendor capacity across our network, A. P. Moller – Maersk implemented temporary, cost reflective energy/fuel price adjustments on Landside Transportation.&nbsp;\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Effective from 1st May 2026 (price calculation date) below Intermodal Fuel Fee (EFS/IFS) will be applicable for the Czech Republic.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>These values will be applied from 1st May 2026 on Inland haulage rates for the Czech Republic based on MOT (Mode of Transport):\u003C/p>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Truck (inland rate from dry port* to store-door location and vice versa): 8,0 %\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Rail Combined (inland rate from seaport/dry port* to Store-door location and vice versa): 5,0 %\u003C/li>\u003Cli>*dry port such as Paskov, Melnik\u003C/li>\u003C/ul>\u003Cp>Given the volatility of the current energy market, further adjustments may be required as conditions evolve.
