With approximately 20% of global fuel passing through the Strait of Hormuz, current developments have created an unprecedented cost environment affecting Landside (Inland) and Intermodal operations.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>To ensure service continuity, safeguard cargo integrity, and secure sufficient vendor capacity across our network, A. P. Moller – Maersk will implement temporary, cost reflective energy/fuel price adjustments on Landside Transportation.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Effective from 15th April 2026 Non-FMC and 15th May 2026 for FMC (price calculation date) and until further notice we are implementing an Intermodal Fuel Fee (EFS/IFS) of 7% for cargo transported via Truck into El Salvador. This surcharge will be presented on invoices as “EFS” (Export Fuel Surcharge) and “IFS” (Import Fuel Surcharge).\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Given the volatility of the current energy market, further adjustments may be required as conditions evolve.
