We would like to inform you of updates to the Emergency Contingency Surcharge (ECS) for reefer shipments covering Oman exports and intra-regional imports into Khor Fakkan.
New ECS levels will apply effective Price Calculation Date (PCD) 2nd April for Non-FMC trades.
For FMC-regulated countries (United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Taiwan, and Colombia), a 30-day notice period will apply. For Vietnam, a 15-day notice period will apply.
This advisory also covers both import and export intra-regional flows between the Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East. The updated ECS levels are reflected in the table below, and the Rate Announcements pagehas been updated accordingly.
All surcharge changes remain subject to any applicable regulatory approvals and notice periods, after which the surcharge will become effective. Applicable surcharges will be reflected in your latest invoices, and we will continue to keep you informed of any further updates.
If you have any questions, please contact your local Maersk office or representative, who will be happy to assist. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to supporting your supply chain needs.
